Admittedly, I was inspired this year by Earth Day. I decided that something I could do was reduce the number of plastic bags that I get
every time I buy groceries. I went to the local farmer's market to buy some fruit and vegetables, and a couple canvas bags recently. I was surprised how hard it was to find canvas bags. And the one I found had a lot of "preachy" Earth Day stuff on it. Don't get me wrong, I agree that we are in serious trouble with our environment, but I think that a lot of people DON"T recycle, (or reduce and reuse) because they don't want to be labeled a "hippy" or "tree-hugger." So on my way home I thought, maybe if I could make something that was a little fun, people might be more willing to make a change. The easiest way
you can make a difference is to use fewer plastic bags! Why not make it a fun conversation starter too?
